General Shipping Information
We work with the most affordable and dependable logistics company in the country to ensure you’re getting a value and reliable source when receiving flooring from us.
All delivery dates are estimates; we cannot guarantee something outside of our control. Please take this into account when scheduling your installation if you’re not doing it yourself.
Freight deliveries are all curb-side deliveries. The skid will be dropped off in your driveway. We cannot make arrangements to have the skid brought into your house or garage. Please make arrangements to get your materials into your home.
Someone must be home to accept the delivery. Whoever does so must check the cartons/boxes for proper quantity/any damage before signing the documents. If the wrong amount of materials are delivered or there is damage, it must be indicated on the papers you sign with the delivery company and immediately documented with us.
All orders 5+ boxes are considered “freight shipping,” or LTL shipping, and will be delivered on a pallet via a lift gate.
After Placing Your Order
We work quickly and efficiently to get your order in place so it can be in your home ASAP! It is estimated that most orders will be to your home within 10 days of placing the order.
If you order multiple products, like moldings and underlayment, please be aware they may come in separate shipments.
Shipping and Delivery Times
Most orders placed will be received in home within 10 business days. All delivery dates are estimated; we cannot guarantee that there will be delays out of our control. Please be aware of this before scheduling your installation if you are not doing it yourself. There is no delivery on weekends or holidays.
After order placement, you will receive a shipping confirmation email and tracking number to track your shipment.
Preparing for Delivery
You must make arrangements for someone to be present at your home when the delivery arrives. When the order is at your house, you must confirm the correct amount of boxes arrived and that nothing is damaged. Facilitate a thorough inspection of what was delivered and note any issues, large or small, on the delivery receipt. Refunds/replacements cannot be issued without damage confirmation upon delivery inspection.
If damage is discovered, once indicated on the delivery receipt, contact Calvetta Bros. Floor Show immediately so we can take proper steps with the freight company.
If you notice shipping damage after you’ve signed the delivery receipt, you are responsible for filing an insurance claim with the freight carrier within 24 hours.
All materials from our warehouse will be on a skid (if 5+ boxes in an order) and will be wrapped in shrink wrap. If this is not the case, please let us know and indicate it on your delivery receipt.
Please bring in your materials as soon as possible once delivered to your home. Calvetta Bros. Floor Show is not responsible for damage caused to your materials if left in the elements.
What To Do If Shipping Damage Occurs
All orders leave our warehouse in perfect condition, but sometimes damage during shipping occurs. Do not refuse the order if you notice damage that occurred during shipment. Note any issues on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately. If the damage is not indicated on the delivery receipt, we will not be able to issue a refund or replace any material that was damaged during shipping.
After indicating damage(s) on the delivery receipt, take photos of the damage to have visual documentation of what occurred during shipment. At that point, call us or email us that day.
We want you to love your new floors and will do what’s necessary to work with you to issue a replacement or credit. If a replacement is needed, we will work as quickly as possible to get it to you efficiently.
If you are not satisfied with your product, you must contact Calvetta Bros. Floor Show within 14 days of receiving it. You will receive a RA number to proceed with your return or exchange. Returns or exchanges are not permitted on opened boxes or special orders unless the product is defective. Returned items must be unused, in original packaging and have been properly stored. Installed products are not permitted to be returned.
Shipping charges are non-refundable. There is a $50 restocking fee.
Upon receiving your return, Calvetta Bros. Floor Show will inspect the package before issuing a refund.
Orders in transit cannot be canceled and should be treated by a return from the customer.
Please be aware that in some instances, manufacturer warranties may not apply to online purchases.
If you need to file a claim due to a defect with the product you received, most manufacturers require you do so through the company in which you purchased your flooring from. Calvetta Bros. Floor Show is available to help you via phone, email and in person to assist you with your warranty claim. Most warranties require a claim number from the authorized retailer. And in many cases, manufacturers require the customer bring the defected product to the retailer in which they purchased it in order to fulfill the inspection process.
To begin a claim, Calvetta Bros. Floor Show will ask the customer to take as man photos as possible to show the defect along with a description of what the customer believes to be wrong with the flooring.
In some cases, the manufacturer may also send a 3rd party inspector to investigate the claim. If the manufacturer deems a 3rd party inspection is necessary, the manufacturer will order and pay for the additional inspection.
Other than the authorized manufacturer’s warranties, there are no warranties, express or implied, than the one provided by the flooring manufacturer. Under no conditions will Calvetta Bros. Floor Show be responsible for any loss of time, troublesomeness, expenses, or other consequential damages caused by or resulting directly or indirectly from a problem about which a claim was made.
